The Artist

Hildur Björnsdóttir er født i Reykjavik på Island men har bodd i Norge siden 1987. Hun er oppvokst i et land hvor det er naturlig å føle seg som en del av naturen som er så levende med sine jordskjelv, vulkanutbrudd og omskiftende vær. Det har satt sine spor og hun henter ofte inspirasjon i naturen.

Hildur Björnsdóttir was born in Reykjavik, Iceland. Now she lives and works mainly in Norway.  She is raised in a country where it is natural to feel the body to be part of nature  that is so alive with its earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and the weather that is constantly changing.  It has left its mark and she often finds inspiration from the nature.
